A commercial photographer by trade, Chris has earned a living in his field since 1978, when he graduated from Langara College's photography program. In the mid-70s he began to shoot dance and has photographed and videoed Vancouver's dance community ever since.
Acclaimed as one of Canada's finest dance photographers, his work has appeared in countless newspapers and magazines, nationally and internationally. Chris is the resident photographer for the Vancouver International Dance Festival, the Talking Stick Festival, and shoots regularly at Dancing on the Edge, the Chutzpah Festival and the Dance Centre. Music and theatre are other areas into which Chris often ventures.
